Black oxide on Tribaloy T400

hi, we currently black oxide a lot of parts that also have hard chrome on them, the black oxide does not effect the chrome and just wipes of, unfortunately the chrome is being replaced with tribaloy T400 (Co, Mo,Cr,Si) does anyone know if black oxide would have any detrimental effect on this coating.

My guess is that it would be minimal unless there is also iron or aluminum in low %.
Run a few scrap parts or test panels and find out. I assume that this is a thermal spray. It may be slightly porous if it is flame sprayed. Far less if plasma sprayed and nearly non existent in the high energy processes.
