Plating peeling on phosphor bronze springs
I am applying nickel via rack plating in a watts nickel bath to phosphor bronze springs. When the part is bent the plating peels off. I'm guessing it's an activation problem. Does anyone know of a good activation procedure for phosphor bronze?

Strike first in ACID copper sulphate ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] plating solution, then nickel plate.
