Nodular extra chromium deposit at inside of dia 40mm rings

I am venketrajan working in LMW, coimbatore as a technical staff. We are doing hard chromium plating on high carbon low alloy steels in plenty. We are facing nodular extra chromium deposit at inside of rings especially. We are using inner anodes (Lead/Tin) of dia. 16 mm. Also we are inspecting 100% after plating with 10X magnification.
Please suggest the possible cause and remedy for overcoming this issue.

Hi, Venketrajan. You probably still have too much current density at this edge. Although I can't really picture the details of your installation without more hints, I think you may need "thieves" to handle the current at these edges.
