Avoiding corrosion from stainless cleat on aluminum "tinnie"

I WANT TO PUT A STAINLESS CLEAT ON THE FRONT OF MY TINNIE, BUT I AM BIT WORRIED ABOUT CORROSION BETWEEN THE CLEAT AND THE ALUMINIUM. IS THERE ANY PRODUCT I CAN USE TO PUT UNDERNEATH THE CLEAT OR ON THE BOLTS TO STOP CORROSION.

Hi, Adam. The best protection is no metallic path. If you are able to put plastic or gasket material in a way that keeps the bolts from metallic contact with the aluminum, that would be ideal. But this particular galvanic corrosion problem should not be a severe one anyway. Good luck.
