Keep up with revised finishing specifications?

Q. Where is the best place to obtain the most current specs and how does one keep up with specification revisions?

A. Hi, Tim. Most standards organizations offer their specifications on their own sites, but there are also a few commercial clearinghouses that offer specifications from a wide range of standards organizations.

Of these services, some offer a free tracking servicewhere you give them a list of specs you want to track and they will email you when anything changes. For larger enterprises they also have a paid subscription service. Good luck.

Hello

I was just wondering if any one knew of a website which you could register with which would alert you to revisions and updates of MIL-SPECS as and when they become available? Any info would be great.

Thanks

Hi, Nina. I know that some specification clearing houses offer that service. You choose a list of the specs you want to track. and they send you an e-mail when any spec on your list is updated. Other services may as well.
