Anyone seen this aluminum anodizing defect?
I have a 365-T6 investment cast aluminum part that is type III hard coated black. The surface has been even in the past but came out patchy on the last run. I am looking for causes: heat treatment, Ti-B refinement, flux usage, tramp elements, etc.

We need to know the surface preparation, anodizing free acid, dissolved aluminum, temperature, and current density.
