Hot Black Oxide on Copper
I need to be able to apply Fe304 to a copper plate that is 53" x 31". Can anybody help?

Hi, Joe. Are you sure this is what you want? Although a black oxide coating on steel may be Fe3O4, I believe the black oxide coatings on copper are usually a copper based coating. Trade names like Ebonol C come to mind, which produces a jet black dendritic coating for good light absorbtivity.
But if you truly need Fe3O4, you could presumably iron plate the copper and black oxide it (I say presumably because I have not actually heard of black oxiding iron plating).
