Passivation for Stainless 318
What type of passivation according to QQ-P-35 should I use for stainless 318?

Hi, Anat. MIL-QQ-P-35 is cancelled, but it calls for only nitric and nitric-chromic solutions. Type 318 stainless is not mentioned specifically, but Type VI or Type VII passivation solution is recommended for austenitic steels including type 316 and type 321.
