Alternative material for 6061-T6
October 15, 2008
I am using nuts of material 6061-T6. This material is definitely required anodization for avoiding corrosion effects. Could you please suggest any alternative material for the same application, without anodization.

Have you looked at Chem Film (Alodine, Iridite, etc) in olive drab for the best corrosion resistance or in the normal dark yellow?
