Acid cleaning cast iron pipe with HCl

Hi
is it feasible to clean lime scaling with HCl and at what concentration can we dilute the solution to? Please help, our lime plant has scaling problem calcium carbonate scales in the pipelines , so now we want to use acid to clean the pipe.

Without a lot more information, not many people are going to comment on this because of the safety problem. Consider using sulfamic acid this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] , it is an organic acid that is effective and a lot safer to use. Note that this is NOT sulfuric acid.
