SHELL AND TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER TYPE SELECTION
Demineralized water is being heated from 80oC to 90oC by using steam. I would like to know type of heat exchanger to be selected for this service .

Hi, Murugan. What do the heat exchanger suppliers you have talked to suggest? 316 SST is probably good but this isn't a unique application; surely they've done it hundreds of times and can give the pros and cons for different materials.
