Stainless Bolts in Aluminium
The steel bolts in my snowmobile trailer rust very quickly. Can I replace the steel bolts in my aluminium snowmobile trailer with stainless steel bolts so they won't rust or will this cause a problem?

Hi, Vic. Although the two materials are not really galvanically compatible, each forms a passive skin, and I have seen many instances of stainless bolts used on aluminum. For a non-critical application it should be okay.
