What is the cause of White Patches in the plating

Dear All

I am working in one of the Automotive industry as a quality Engineer. I am facing a Problem of white patches in nickel chrome plating yellow passivation as well as chrome free plating blue passivation can you give some inputs to over come this problem.
Parts are CEW and ERW. and tell can we do Shot Blasting.

Hi, Kiran. Your posting is not making sense to me. One does not apply either yellow passivation or chrome-free passivation to nickel-chrome plated parts. Perhaps the parts are zinc plated, or zinc-nickel plated or something? Please try to sort out exactly what processes you are speaking of. What do you want to shot blast, and when, and why? If you are asking whether you can sand blast white patches off of chromate conversion coated parts, no. You can (maybe and to some extent) buff white patches off of nickel-chrome plated parts.
