How to remove metallic impurities in cadmium bath

Hello sir,
I was facing a problem with my cadmium bath which contains cadmium, sodium cyanide and caustic soda ⇦liquid caustic soda in bulk on Amazon [affil link] .The problem was white patches in low current density areas then I consulted my chemical supplier they says that the bath is contaminated by impurities and suggested dummying the bath. I want to know any other process to remove impurities other than dummying.

Hi, Ranga. "Too many cooks spoil the broth".

If you are going to use a proprietary plating chemistry supplier, there is a lot to be said for following their instructions about how to fix the problems with the baths, rather than half-following them and half doing contrariwise :-)

But if you would like to better understand the troubleshooting of plating baths, and the treatments to address difficulties, the Canning Handbook is a wonderful resource. Good luck!
