Hi, Karnail. Guffie's Hard Chromium Plating was written to concisely answer those questions. Good luck.

What should be the ideal working temperature for the bath?
What happen if the temperature is not as per requirement?

Hi, Mohsin. 140 &F would be a common spec, but it can depend upon the type of chrome solution, the concentration, and whether auxiliary anodes are involved. Chrome has a very narrow band where plating will even take place. If the temperature is too high for the current density being used, there will likely be no plating; if it's too low there will likely be burning.
