Primer needed for aluminum gutters?
Q. I want to paint my aluminum gutters, fascia & soffits. Shouldn't they be primed first? Painter recommends one coat of SW Duration brand paint only.

A. Hi, Kim. Are they already painted? If so, your painter may be right. If they are bare aluminum, I think you are.
