NIDI 9012 - Finishes for Stainless Steel

July 30, 2008

Where can I download this standard?

I am new to Stainless Steel.

I have searched all over the Nidi.org website and Google but unable to find it.

Thank you.

Looking at ssina.com, the website of the Specialty Steel Industry of North America, I don't see it listed. They've got one for "Special Finishes" and I'd guess that's an updated version.

The "Finishes for Stainless Steel" brochure, part of the Designer's Handbook series, is not a standard, by the way- more like a description of what the various finishes are, and what you should expect. I'd consider it descriptive rather than definitive.
