Electric Polishing of Brass
I have brass handles on all the doors of my home, after ten years the outside handles have weathered. I would like to know if there is an electric brass polisher and if so the brand as it will be a big job to polish them all.

Hi, Deborah. Maybe I'm misunderstanding you, but as far as I know there is no machine for consumers specially designed for polishing brass. I think you are looking for a buffing machine of some type, and for one-time use this may be a buffing wheel for a bench grinder, an angle grinder ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] with a buffing wheel, a buffing wheel for an electric drill, or even a Dremel ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] . You would try some polishing compound that has a bit of cutting action. Mothers Mag & Aluminum Polish ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] has worked well for my family. But before deciding that power buffing is required, you might try just brass polish. There are dozens of brands, but Revere Copper Cleaner ⇦ this on eBay [affil links] is one that seems to have enough acid in it to work quite quickly for me.
