Is there a Mil-spec limit on surface area that can be brush plated?

As I am new over here, I would first like to introduce myself. I am Maarten, a 26 year old Dutch process engineer in an aviation components company. We are introducing cad plating on our rod ends in the near coming future. I had lesson concerning cad plating in accordance with the Sifco process. I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a maximum surface area within the aviation regulations which is allowed to process in accordance with this regulations. I heard something about 1 sq inch but cannot find it anywhere.

Kind regards,

There is none that I am aware of, but there are practical limits because yo have to keep the entire surface wet, have the same amount of contact of brush to every section being plated and the brush speed has to be constant. For cad plating, I will guess that 4" x 4" for a beginner would be a rational max. Mechanized plating will take that area way up based on the anode size and an adequate flow of solution being pumped thru the anode and speed of the part.
