Will cryogenic treatment improve Chromium Nitride?

Dear Sirs
I want to know will there be any additional beneficial effect if we do cryogenic treatment to Chromium Nitride coated surface?

No. Cryogenic treatment converts retained austenite to martensite in steels -- basically completes the heat treat cycle of the metal. Chromium nitride is a ceramic material. Cryogenic treatment will not improve it. If the coating is not suitable for your application, consider an alternative hard coating, or look closely at the deposition process. There are many ways to deposit chromium nitride, and each has a number of parameters that affect the coating quality.
