You didn't say to cool by how much?
If you normally run at say 450C, then you might consider to cool to 425, but much lower and you'll have the zinc start to solidify. And that will shorten kettle life.
What is your objective to let it cool? To save energy?
If so, then insulate. It doesn't take any energy to keep the metal hot, only to overcome the losses.
So, insulate. Prevent those losses.

halo,
See you can but you cannot as because it will harm the kettle. What you can do at your best is you can keep it on one burner which should in any case keep your temperature to 435 degree C depending on the burner.

Dear Mr. Jamil,
You can do. Cool down the kettle as slow as you can.

Dear Mr. Jamil,
If there is no production for long duration (say for a month or more), stop firing, cool down the furnace as slowly as you can till it goes to room temperature.
