Need alternative for cadmium plating
What is the alternative plating for cadmium, used with steel and aluminium alloys and have a high corrosion resistance and electrically conductive.

Hi, Mohamad. The most common substitute is a zinc alloy such as zinc-nickel, zinc-iron, zinc-cobalt, or tin-zinc. However, there is no such thing as a 'general purpose' alternative, and a substitution is never permissible without the explicit permission of the design authority because there may be other issues than corrosion resistance and conductivity. For example, unlike cadmium, the zinc alloys are not compatible with bare aluminum; their corrosion products can be bulky and sticky; and they do not offer the same lubricity and freedom from stick-slip.
