Dear Mr Vipul,

The answers to your question are as below:

Yes it is widely used all over the world; available locally as well.

About 3 - 4 % of cobalt alloy in the bath gets you about 1 % in the final plated alloy, the remainder is zinc.

Talking about the acid cobalt process; the white rust resistance is about the same as normal chloride plated zinc if you passivate with Hex Blue. A very slight increase of about 10 hours is observed on Hex black and olive drab. On Hex yellow a phenomenal 100% increase in WRR is normal.

For Red Rust you can expect double the performance for all types of Hex Passivates.
