Can we do Nickel Chrome Plating on Nylon GF (60%)

I want to replace one of our product components presently made of Mazak 5(Zinc Alloy) with Nylon GF 60%, which is having Ni Cr Plating on it.

If that is one of the platable plastics, it should work, but if it is under any load, I would expect it to delaminate (fail) much sooner than on zamac as it is "softer".
