Is rhodium plated sterling silver ring good or not?

I just purchased a ring that is Solid Sterling Silver with Rhodium Plating; I have never heard of this and want to know if this will be a good ring, will it turn "green", "yellow", etc? Will it last a long while, short while? Thank you for your assistance.

The rhodium plating will keep the ring perfectly white and will prevent tarishing. That's a good thing.

How long it will last depends on how thick the rhodium is, and how much it's worn.
