How to achieve polished finish #7 on 316L stainless sheet?

I got a request for the material plate 316L stainless steel part to be stamped and polished to a finish grade of polish #7. As I know it almost looks like mirror or so called mirror finish. However I would like to know how to achieve that and by what equipment if I start off from a sheet metal of 0.4mm 316L stainless steel BA finish?thanks a lot!

Are you sure your material is .4mm thick? If so, you can not reprocess it.
