How to dye stainless steel
Hi... I'm working for an instrumentation company... and we produce dental hand instruments... normally we don't add any dyes and we don't have any experts in this field.. we ise stainless steel... so I would like to know about your suggestions in dyeing, materials used and the suggested companies in India and abroad where we can purchase the dyes... kindly do the need... Thank you

Hi, Rajeev. I don't think stainless steel is dyeable. But it can be colored by specialty anodizing or with PVD coatings. It can also be electrophoretic lacquered. This is a paint rather than a dye, but it is a very very thin coating and it can be translucent if that's what you are seeking.
