Galvanizing A153 Class B-1 vs. B-2
Specifying brick ties, what's the difference between ASTM A153 Class B-1 and Class B-2?

Sir -
The brick ties I have seen over the years are usually a very thin material (22 ga.?) This would put them into a different class than you mentioned. ASTM A153
/A class B-3, which calls for an average coating thickness of 2.2 mils. Classes B-2 & B-3 are applicable only if the part is over 15" in length.
