Discoloration on clear coat anodizing after shelving a while
I have some aluminum parts that were clear coat anodized and been on te shelf for awhile. They now appear to have a yellowish cast to them. Is this normal?

It depends!
How long were they on the shelf?
What is the atmosphere of the storage?
Were they chromate sealed?
Were they put up the slightest bit damp?
Are they OK? that depends on your criteria. The anodizer is off of the hook once you accepted them, but it is worth having a conversation with them as to what they think might be the cause.

No, not normal. Probably not sealed. Heat could cause the same thing. Acid fumes?
