White Copper Jewelry
I'm seeing some jewelry offered online as having "white copper" settings. I'm curious as to what this actually is and would it cause the typical greening of the skin?
Thanks in advance for any information...

B.G.,
It's just another name for white bronze, but the mfg. prefers to call it white copper. It is an alloy of copper, tin and zinc. It is an alternative to silver plating and often used as a barrier plate between copper and an array of final finishes, because of allergies people have to nickel. Whether it would turn your skin green depends on your body chemistry, and the quality and thickness of the plating applied. I would give it a shot, it can't be that expensive.
