Hai friends,
Good evening to all of you, we are doing trials for trivalent chrome plating. we need some details about trivalent chrome plating.
1.what is the maximum thickness for Trivalent Chrome Plating.
2.It's possible for direct plating on steel parts?
3.What is the corrosion resistance for the Trivalent Chrome Plating.
We need your guidance, friends.

Max up to 5 microns. But even though it is only for Decorative Finish, it's better to give only up to 0.5 Microns.
And we cannot plate Directly to SS Parts. It has to have NICKEL Strike; if not, plating Quality Issues will be there.
And also its corrosion resistance is more then Hexavalent.
Good luck
