Nickel plating is not bright enough

March 30, 2008

DEAR SIR,

WE ARE FROM KARACHI, PAKISTAN AND NEED YOUR FAVOUR.

WE ARE IN THE FIELD OF MANUFACTURING OF ARTIFICIAL JEWELRY. WE HAVE TO POLISH THE ITEMS AT THE END AND WE ARE USING YOUR PRODUCTS FOR POLISHING.

WE NEED MORE BRIGHTNESS IN OUR JEWELRY AND NEED your HELP. THE BRIGHTNESS COMING IS NOT UP TO OUR EXPECTATION AND WE NEED MORE WHITENESS AND SHINE TO MAKE OUR PRODUCTS SUPERIOR TO OUR COMPETITORS.

WE ARE IN SEARCH OF SUCH CHEMICALS WHICH CAN GIVE US MORE WHITENESS AND SHINING.

WOULD YOU PLEASE GUIDE US HOW WE CAN DO IT.

WE WILL BE HAPPY IF YOU GIVE US THE NAME OF ANY PRODUCT WHICH MAY BE HELPFUL TO US

BEST REGARDS,<

SALEEM AHMED
EXECUTIVE IMPORT/EXPORT - KARACHI, PAKISTAN

Hello, Saleem. Although you can attempt to use your own brighteners and addition agents for nickel plating, and an explanation of how they work can be found in ASM Metals Handbook, Vol. 5, Surface Engineering, most plating shops purchase proprietary plating solutions which are the result of man-decades of development. Our Chemicals directory includes links to many of those suppliers. Good luck.

Regards,
