March 22, 2008

A chamber using for etch anodized per MIL-A-8625 type III class 1,sealing with DI-water at 98C.When FQC,It was found a bare aluminum approximate diameter 0.1mm on the outside wall's corner of the part.It couldn't be reworked because of exact dimension. So,I need your help that how to repair it?
And if bare aluminum is at inner wall, how to solve it?

Selective anodizing is an option to consider. It is a portable (out of tank) brush anodizing process that might work for you. The coating will meet the specification you cited.
