Scratches on oven dial panel of Kenmore oven range

Recently, I was cleaning my Kenmore oven range (color black)on the stove top with Cook Top Cleaning Cream for Smooth Top Ranges. I thought I had removed the cream from the cloth and began cleaning the panel above where the oven dials are located. Unfortunately, it scratched the panel by the dials. Do you know of any product that would mitigate the scratches?

I would like to know an answer to my question for #48199.

Thank you.

Steven,
Is the dial panel glass or plastic? Is it black like the rest of the range? Let me know.
