Painting 24 gallon above deck aluminum fuel tank




I am replacing a fiberglass fuel tank on my boat with an aluminum tank. I use the boat mostly in saltwater and would like to protect the fuel tank from the elements. How should I go about painting a new customized aluminum fuel tank?

Hi Rafael,
I have a chemical we treat aluminum with that protects it from staining and oxidation. We use Sharkhide Metal Protectant^#8680;
on aluminum hulls and components that are exposed to salt water all the time with great results.
