Paint for galvanized scuba tanks
I'm looking to paint hot-dip galvanized scuba tanks. I DO NOT want to sand down the zinc. I want to add another layer of corrosion protection as saltwater is hell on metals. What primer is recommended for painting rough zinc?
As these will see a rough life, what paint will hold up the best?

Surely seawater will attack galvanised steel (i.e., zinc coated steel) and leave you with a real mess on your tanks. You may be better off buying decent grade stainless steel tanks.
