Coating on Jig Racks

Which material is used for jig coating? please describe about passivation of jig, what is it? We are going for cu-ni-cr plating on some plastic components.

The coating is plastisol (plasticized PVC), Manish. But it is you who must explain 'passivation of jig' as I don't know what you mean or what you are referring to. Thanks.

Why does plastisol(plasticizer PVC) is not plated with metal even after undergoing through pretreatment along with ABS component? Why it remains Passive?
But after prolonged Activate palladium dip they becomes active and being plated in further process. so how is it?

Palladium chloride is intended to give a coating on organic materials that is frequently not a strong bond. Plastisol, when it is new is not receptive to the palladium coating, BUT after it is aged and the surface slightly abused, then it will coat. Initially, the bond will be very poor, but with time it will become strong. The more you strip, the stronger the bond will become.
