Removing epoxy paint from clear acrylic plastic?

Hi, we had an accident recently. We accidentally splattered some epoxy paint on some clear plastic. What would you suggest to remove it. It is part of an eye protector for a stone grinder. Hope you can help.

SUGGESTED METHOD
-Remove epoxy paint with a knife or sandpaper
-Polish the eye protector til a clear surface.

Not worth the effort. Buy a new plastic part if it has a replaceable part. If not , buy a new one that does have a replaceable part.
