Post treatment for electroless nickel

Like to know any simplest way to passivate electroless nickel in post treatment that can able to comply with RoHS standard. Using proprietary chemical does not able give satisfactory result such as yellowish or nickel tarnish. All DI water use.

Hi, Guik. I doubt that someone is going to be able to give you a generic non-proprietary formulation that will be better than what the specialists who have spent years on their proprietary coatings have been able to achieve. I think if the proprietary supplier who is assisting you has not achived success, then you need to hunt for another proprietary supplier. If none can achieve what you need, then you may need to switch technologies completely, such as maybe developing a rhodium flash process. Good luck.
