Compatibility of sulphonic acid with plastic and FRP

Please suggest to me compatible material in plastic or in FRP resin with sulfonic acid.
we want to develop scrubber from FRP to scrub fumes of sulfonic acid with 2000 ppm rate in 2500m/hr.

Hi Leena,

May I suggest that you only use, temperatures permitting, PVC and NOT fibreglass.

Ideally you should use a dual laminate, ie. PVC to which FRP has been bonded to it. That will allow you to extend the heat resistance of the PVC.

I hope this helps !
