Can a Fishing Reel be bronzed like baby shoes?

My father passed away and we are interested in bronzing his fishing reel. Is this a task that can be done? Scouring the internet and haven't found info on it yet. Hopefully someone can give advice. Thank you

Surely this could be done by any of the folks who "bronze" (actually copper) baby shoes. However it would be slightly different from their usual work, and finding a shop which is willing to do one-off may take some digging...or begging and pleading.
