CLEANING ALUMINUM PARTS
We manufacture parts made of Aluminum and then we remove the oil using N-Propyl Bromide (Techtride)as a vapor degreasing solution. Lately, we are having residue problem, always at the same place, that will not come off the degreasing but will wipe off. The residue is not visible prior to degreasing. Ocassionaly, white stains also appear in the parts (like the stain seen on a glass from the dishwasher). What kind of bath can we dip them into so they can be cleaned in bulk?

You need to know what the soil is in order to prescribe a treatment regimen. But things like polishing compounds can have insoluble grits dispersed in the compound such that the solvent removes only part of the compound, Have you tried ultrasonic cleaning?

QUESTION COMMENT,
The residue is due to oil or is a kind of oxidation?
