Cathode material for aluminum anodizing

I am trying to anodize aluminum 2024 for a project. I cannot seem to find what cathode should be used when anodizing this material. Can someone lead me to what the cathode should be?

Patient searching for "anodizing cathode" will bring up several threads on this, Alex. Lead or 6063T6 aluminum. For a short student project, 6061 or 6063 will probably be fine. Good luck.
