Is electrophoretic deposition really good technique?

Sometimes,I doubt on this techniques suitability for any application as I found the films deposited by this method to be non sticky. Basically this technique uses particulate deposition and so the films are non adhesive and requires further ex-situ heat treatment for improvement in adhesion.

Virtually every automobile in the world, plus countless millions of other items are electrophoretically coated, Rajeshkumar. It does not work the way you describe. It is not a matter of electrostatic attraction of paint particles, it is a chemical reaction that occurs as electrons are added to (or removed from) the polymer molecules at the surface of the part. The fact that you are having difficulty with it only means that you are having difficulty with it; it does not mean that the idea is bankrupt. Please have someone experienced in it work with you to see what is going wrong. Good luck.

ELECTROPHORETIC COATINGS,

I take (only me) care of several reactors doing this kind of coating. Kinetics is repetitive and coating properties very uniform batch after batch. Prep is a another key word in this process, period.
