Black Nickel Question

I was wondering if you know of a way to make black nickel have a shiny purple quality to it. This is for black nickel plated putters. There is a designer named Scotty Cameron who has done this, but I can't figure out what he is doing to it. He calls is a black pearl finish.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I believe Black Pearl is a proprietary black finish which had been Udylite and is now probably being marketed by Enthone/Cookson. Tell your plater to talk to his suppliers.
