Can I use Qualitative Filter Paper(Coarse) to filter nickel sulfamate?

I am using nickel sulfamate solution to electroplating.
There were some deposit in my bath, so I filtered it with Qualitative Filter Paper(Coarse).
But it's found out that the samples are darker than the previous ones.
So I want to know whether the nickel sulfamate could be filter using Qualitative Filter Paper(Coarse).
Thank you.

Your filter is a cellulose based product and it will break down or react with the acid in the solution. You can buy a small laboratory sized filter pump and filter assembly that will be ideal. Professional platers frequently use continuous filtration of this type.
Membrane lab filter are too fine to be a practical option, even when using vacuum.
