Encountering oxidation/ blackening of copper plated surface




I am an engineer specialised in Carbon- We do plating of electrgraphite carbon with copper but the plated surface gets blacken now a days.
request for suggestion or process to avoid this. presently we are using electrolysis process.

Better you will do the Anti tarnishing after copper plating. Because on copper oxides will react easily.
And If the componets are very small please do the proper packing method.
Normally copper plating main application is electrical contacts.
