Treatment of Sodium Hydroxide for Disposal
We are trying to reduce some of our hazardous waste by treating our used sodium hydroxide with sulfuric acid thus obtaining sodium sulphate and water. Is this the correct approach to take or is there a better method?

In terms of end-of-pipe treatment, that would probably be okay, Jack. But you might see if a case can be made for removal of the aluminum and recyle by Eco-Tec or others.
