How to analyse a mixture by titration

By titration how can I analyse amixture of BACL2 with HCL

The HCl is an elementary acid base titration.
It should be possible to titrate the barium with EDTA but I do not know the best indicator and EDTA end points are often difficult.
The simplest method for barium is gravimetric as the sulphate.
Add excess sulfuric acid, filter, wash, dry and weigh.
Barium sulphate is highly insoluble

Without knowing what else might be in there, you could titrate for total chlorides with silver nitrate to the dichromate endpoint and then a simple acid base titration on a separate aliquot. As an exercise for the student, figure out the chlorides due to the acid as opposed to the chlorides due to the barium chloride by difference.

Another approach would be to start out doing what Jim Totter suggested, titrate with AgNO3 at pH 7 for total chlorides, but then do an EDTA titration at pH 10, using Eeriochrome black t this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] as an indicator. Then, figure out the HCl concentration by difference.

And, I'm not going to do the arirthmetic for you, either.
