Lime stone filter treatment
I am working in desalination plant and after we got a distillate water ( no salt content ) we treat this water with CO2 and lime stone to get hardness and Alkalinity in water at about 50 ppm both , but after 5 years approx. we could get this figure although we have a full of lime in all filter and sufficient amount dosing of CO2 26 ppm and still we could not get 45 ppm of hardness and Total Alkalinity and we I check sample on each filter ( one filter are full of lime and other are less than have ) we got same result , so my question is why I can not get 50 ppm T. Alkalinity and we same result is obtain in different quantity of lime in two filters. Thanks to everybody

Have you checked the lime stone quality? may be the present line stone is of different quality than the previous one.
this will be the reason, otherwise I am not getting any reason.
also I supply one lime stone filter package to dubai, will you tell me how you are using your filling system in the lime is it automatic or manual
